How many hosts can I monitor?

The free version allows up to 5 hosts. The Pro version (one-time purchase) removes this limit and adds unlimited host monitoring.

What data does the app collect?

None. Network Monitor is designed with privacy as its core principle. All processing happens locally on your device. No usage analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking of any kind.

Can I monitor local network devices?

Yes! The app is perfect for monitoring your home router, NAS, Raspberry Pi, and any other devices on your local network.

What is RTT?

RTT (Round Trip Time) is the time it takes for a ping packet to travel to the host and back. Lower is better - typically 1-10ms for local networks, 10-100ms for internet hosts.

What are warning and critical thresholds?

These are custom RTT values you set per host. When response time exceeds the warning threshold, the host shows as "Slow". Exceeding the critical threshold marks it as "Offline".

How does subnet scanning work?

The scanner can discover all active devices on your local network by pinging each IP address in a range (like 192.168.1.0/24). You can then select which devices to add to monitoring.

Will this drain my battery?

Network Monitor is optimized for efficiency. You can adjust the ping interval to balance between detail and battery usage. The default 1-second interval works well for most users.
